NATURAL BEAUTY

When homeowners first purchased this home, they knew they wanted to make the space their own. Inspired by elegance and nature, the design team worked alongside the homeowners to create a home that feels both sophisticated and inviting, with a thoughtful connection to the surrounding landscape.

The great room makes the first impression when you enter the home. Soaring windows fill the room with natural light and allow the landscape to become a stunning backdrop for the space. Furniture was carefully selected to feel polished enough for formal entertaining while remaining comfortable enough for everyday living. A luxurious tiger-patterned fabric provided the jumping-off point for the space, with echoes of soft blues and greens woven throughout the furnishings and details. Mirrored sofas with inverted box pleats anchor the room while adding a touch of feminine flair, and a locally sourced antique rug grounds the space and brings visual interest and a sense of scale. Strong symmetry lends a formal elegance, softened by layers of rich fabrics and inviting textures.

Sitting adjacent, the dining room’s scenic mural wallpaper serves as the centerpiece of the space. Rich blues and golden hues bring the outdoors in, creating a dining experience that feels both romantic and refined. Timeless silk drapery panels frame the windows, finished with lower-hem tape trim for a fresh interpretation of a classic detail. An unexpected floral chandelier echoes the organic movement of the mural, while blue velvet chairs add warmth and depth without feeling heavy. A lighter rug keeps the room feeling bright and balanced.

Throughout the home, traditional elements are layered with fresh color, feminine details, and natural references to create interiors that feel collected. Classically romantic and elegantly tailored, the result is a home that is richly layered yet breathable, sophisticated yet welcoming, and designed to be enjoyed every day.
