Emily Castle
Owner, Principal Interior Designer, ASID
Emily is Castle Design’s founder and one of the region’s most sought after and celebrated residential interior designers. She is widely recognized and admired for her exquisite taste, unrivaled industry knowledge, and unsurpassed level of client care.
An incredibly versatile designer and artist, both Emily’s residential and commercial projects are highly individualized expressions of those that live, work, and play within them. She designs with thoughtful purpose and intention, composing one-of-a-kind environments that go above and beyond expectations.
Meghan Heeter
Interior Designer, Allied ASID
As a former writer, Meghan Heeter believes that thoughtful interior design tells a unique story – one of form, function, culture, and style. Her passion for design and decorative arts has led her to Castle Design, where she works closely with clients to bring their unique vision to life through cohesive, schematic design. She loves to layer colorful prints and textures and mix classic elements with modern pieces for a fresh, curated look.
Laurie LeBoeuf
Interior Designer, Allied ASID
With her background in studio art, Laurie draws inspiration from color, artwork, and fashion. These wide-ranging influences allow her to affect the overall experience and aesthetic of a space while adding finer elements to surprise and delight. She especially enjoys working with clients to realize and surpass their vision through architectural detail, color, lighting, finish palettes, and artwork procurement. Whether it’s mixing and layering styles, or creating finish palettes, every project with Laurie is entirely unique. With more than 10 years of experience in hospitality, senior living, and residential design, Laurie is creating her own unique influence on St. Louis design.
Linda Phillip Gaydos
Interior Designer, Allied ASID
Linda Phillip Gaydos loves working with homeowners to create a home that reflects their personality. She is intrigued with the effect an interior space has on its inhabitants—its power to ignite joy or create a sense of calm refuge.
Liz Basler
Interior Designer, Allied ASID
Liz has turned her personal passion for design into a flourishing second career. Graduating with honors in design school, she now provides interior design services, construction support and project management to both residential and commercial clients. With an eye for timeless design, Liz helps her clients realize their dreams, creating luxurious, yet comfortable and inviting spaces. When not working, Liz enjoys family, friends, cooking, travel and the outdoors.
Morgan Brown
Interior Designer
With over a decade of experience in the residential design community. She strives to create spaces that are timeless, elegant, and practical, ensuring that each home is both functional and visually captivating.
Morgan’s passion for design and architecture has led her to Castle Design, where she collaborates closely with clients to bring their unique visions to life through cohesive designs. She loves to blend patterns and textures, merging classic elements with contemporary pieces to achieve a refreshingly sophisticated, curated aesthetic.
Kimberly Scails
Interior Designer
After studying Fashion Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and forging a career in the fashion industry, Kimberly eventually found her true passion in the world of Interior Design. With a meticulous eye for detail and a highly chromatic sense of color, she creates spaces that feel harmonious, intentional and visually appealing.
Emily Quinn
Design Assistant
An integral part of the team, Emily uses her creative problem solving abilities and organization skills to assist Castle’s principal designers with design drawings and concepts, client meetings, project management and product selection.
Sabryn Lensing
Design Assistant
Sabryn Lensing believes interior design helps people enhance and transform their space to find happiness, comfort and balance. She brings this philosophy to her work at Castle Design. As a Design Assistant, Sabryn finds collaborating with Castle’s lead designers in client meetings, project management, and product selections to be rewarding in many ways.
Marie Wielms
Design Assistant
Marie was raised with a deep-rooted passion for home renovation projects and from an early age learned she had a knack for interior design. Her keen eye and sense of style guided her on a focused career path. Marie earned an associate’s degree in Interior Design from St. Louis Community College and furthered her expertise with a certificate in Kitchen and Bath design, driven by her love for functional planning.
Caroline Polansky
Design Assistant
Caroline’s passion is creating timeless spaces for families to grow and enjoy, understanding that the spaces we inhabit have the power to shape our lives. She thrives on the finer details of design, assisting our lead designers in design concepts, product selection, and project management.
Chloe Schuller
Design Assistant
Growing up with a passion for interior design, Chloe loves the creative process of transforming a house into a beautiful home fit for making memories. Using her strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, people skills and creativity, Chloe works closely with lead designers to ensure the design process runs smoothly, from idea to install.
Laura Nikolaisen
Office Manager
Laura Nikolaisen brings more than 18 years of experience in the interior design industry to Castle Design. She has been with the firm since 2008 and performs a wide range of administrative and operational tasks in her role as office manager.
Cassie Jansen
Accounting/Administrative Assistant
An essential part of Castle Design’s accounting department, Cassie fills a variety of bookkeeping and administrative roles within the office. In addition, she helps to build new and foster ongoing relationships with all of our vendors as our lead purchasing agent.
Billie Powell
Accounting/Administrative Assistant
A key player within the Castle Design administrative team, Billie brings more than 15 years of interior design industry experience. In the Castle Design office, she oversees the life cycle of orders as well as a variety of accounting and administrative tasks.
