CLUB LOUNGE REDEFINED

When walking in the stylish new lounge at Racquet Club Ladue, it becomes instantly clear – this is not your typical stuffy, chintz-covered country club.

Its fresh boutique style evokes the feel of a modern-day speakeasy. With sumptuous furniture, moody lighting and handsome finishes, you feel as if at any moment you’ll be joined by Humphrey Bogart for a stiff scotch on the rocks.

With meticulous planning, the space is reimagined as a stylish lounge. The room was expanded out onto the veranda and a wall of French doors was added to unveil gorgeous views onto the impeccably landscaped lawns and courts.

A newly incorporated oversized fireplace with antiqued brass surround and classical millwork detail anchors the space and provides an intimate setting for evening conversation. Cozy dimly lit nooks are elevated with stitched faux leather wallcovering, brass swing lamps and plush amber-colored velvet curvilinear chairs.

The expanded bar area, now fully functional for private events and parties, is captivating in every detail, from the metallic tufted front face to its inset LED-lit niches.

Dark finishes, soft lighting and modern design conspire to make this new lounge a favorite hot spot for the club’s members.
